1 Year Contract Medical Technologist

Job Description: 

• Performs routine laboratory test procedures as outlined in the laboratory technical manuals
• Adheres to quality assurance and quality control procedures in performing all testing
• Maintains and operates lab equipment; able to detect malfunctions as they occur by review of instruments results, troubleshoots simple machine problems with assistance
• Monitors lab supplies in assigned area or department
• Verification of daily departmental pending work logs
• Trains or instructs laboratory personnel in performance of lab tests and procedures where assigned
• Participates in developmental work on new tests.
• Performs other assigned duties as instructed or required.

Job Requirements: 

• Possess at least Diploma/Degree in Biomedical Science/ Biotechnology/ Molecular or any related course
• Prior experience in clinical laboratory experience will be a great advantage 
• Able to start immediately or on short notice
