(2 Months, Shift Duties) IT Desk Side Services
Job Title: IT Desk Side Services
Work Location: Downtown Core, Singapore
Job Type: 2 months contract, subject to renewal
About the Job
The Desk Side Services personnel will be assigned to support Development Renovation projects in a 24x7 basis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle computer hardware and software incident and request.
- Follows established guidelines for processing or escalating an incident and request.
- Provides technical advice and support on the use of computer hardware and software.
- Responsible for the installation of computer hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers and scanners on user’s premises.
- Investigate and research solutions for PC hardware and software problems.
- Participate on Desk Side related project.
- Adhere to attendance guidelines of the job and to departmental and company policies.
- Any other ancillary tasks or works as and when requested and assigned by the Company.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year experience in PC, hardware, and software support.
- Able to work in 24x7 shift rotation.
- Experience in troubleshooting and managing Win7, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Active Directory, MacOS, VDI client, smart phone iOS/Android, basic networking, POS, scanner, printer, and other attached peripherals.
- Ability to perform PC hardware and software troubleshooting with experience in the use of diagnostic programs and tools.
- Experience in Incident and Request Management system.
- Experience in ITIL operating environment is a plus.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage projects and provide status updates on weekly/monthly basis.
