Executive/Senior Executive, NSS HR (Research Recruitment & Administration Support)
The Senior Executive/Executive, Recruitment will support the HR operations relating to recruitment of research positions for the University. This includes the end-to-end recruitment processing, ensuring alignment with fair employment practices and creating positive candidate experience. The Senior Executive/Executive is to ensure the delivery of services within stipulated Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and be involved in process improvement projects.

Service Delivery
  • Coordinate and manage the sourcing and selection process of Research candidates, which includes:
    • Post job advertisement at appropriate employment advertising portals
    • Conduct pre-screening of applicants based on defined criteria
    • Coordinate with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to source, screen and interview selected candidates
    • Conduct background/reference checks for prospective candidates
    • Prepare salary proposals through various benchmarking methods in consultation with HR Business Partners and seek management's approval
    • Make salary offers and engage in salary negotiations
    • Ensure candidates' applications and documents are complete for review by business units
    • Coordinate candidate applications, manage queries across business units and work closely with several stakeholders including but not limited to HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers and Head of Department
    • Perform update of candidates' profile and hiring records in NTU HR Information System using Workday
    • Work with stakeholders to follow up on Probation and Confirmation


Others
  • Undertake initiatives/projects across HR Shared Services team
  • Review SOPs and process improvement to increase the overall efficiency of work and processes
  • Share knowledge and guide junior staff on HR processes and procedures where appropriate
  • Handle enquires related to HR service delivery


Requirements
  • Diploma in Business administration, Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related discipline with 4 years of experience, OR
  • Degree in Business administration, Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related discipline with 2 years of experience
  • Able to handle high volume of transactional work
  • Good understanding of common HR practices and Employment related legislation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word and Excel)
  • Excellent communication, planning, organisation, interpersonal skills and able to work independently
  • Positive attitude with a service-oriented mind-set
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure given tight timelines
  • Meticulous and resourceful fast learner
  • Proficient in WorkDay Recruitment Module is an advantage
