The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Engineer I/Research Engineer II.

The Research Engineer will carry out research project for industrial robot controller and applications with open source environment ROS2

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing ROS2 controller application & AI software for industrial requirements.
• Responsible for promotion to and coordination with industry partners both locally and internationally
• Assisting the team for robot system integration with ROS2 controller

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master in Robotics from Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering
• Familiar with industrial manipulator modeling, control, or AI techniques for robotics
• Good hands-on experience on industrial robot programming
• Familiar with C/C++, ROS, Linux OS, Windows OS, and other similar libraries and software tools
• Good robot system integration experiences
