Assistant Manager, Student Administration
Established in 1981, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) https://www.ntu.edu.sg/eee is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Built on a culture of excellence, the School is renowned for its high academic standards and research. It is one of the largest EEE schools in the world, with more than 130 faculty members and an enrolment of more than 4,000, of which about 1,000 are graduate students.

We invite applications for the position of Assistant Manager, Student Administration in the Academic Programme Office. Incumbent will assist with the examination management process and serve as one of the key points of contact for examination matters to ensure excellence in delivery and execution while maintaining high level of integrity and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with course coordinators to process examination marks and serve as the School Administrator for the Mark Entry System (MES)
  • Facilitate the Board of Examiners meeting including planning, scheduling and generating of reports
  • Coordinate the appeal process of examination results
  • Support and manage arrangements to cater to special requirements or emergency situations to ensure student's candidature or well-being is not compromised
  • Facilitate Internship programmes' marks processing
  • Serve as the Administrator for retrieval of various reports and listings
  • Coordinate shortlisting and nomination for various recognition medals and book prizes
  • Serve as the Secretariat of the School Academic Integrity Committee


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in higher education administration, student examination, academic administration, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Team player with demonstrated organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of exam materials and results.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and make decisions.
  • Knowledge of higher education landscape and university organizational structure preferred.
