ABOUT US
The JobsCentral Fairs aim to become a job-centric fair targeting white-collared professionals in Singapore. The first fair in 2006 attracted 20,000 visitors and 60 exhibitors (52 companies and 8 training providers). In 2007, we grew quickly to 87 exhibitors (74 employers and 13 training providers) and 32,000 visitors. Subsequently in 2008, we garnered 87 exhibitors (65 employers and 22 training providers) and 50,000 visitors. The JobsCentral Career & Learning Fair was definitely the largest job-centric career fair in all the years and we are confident of continuing that growth in 2009.

In 2008, we implemented the Education Pavilion in the fair to aid our jobseekers' continuous learning and upgrading efforts. This section features good study programmes suitable for our white-collared visitors at the Fair.

A UNIQUE FAIR
There are a few things that make the JobsCentral Career Fair unique for our exhibitors. We have organised the fair such that valuable face-time with jobseekers can be utilised for networking and direct interaction instead of, administrative details like form-filling or data entry.

We are also the first to insist on jobseeker registrations. This provides valuable insights on visitors' profiles, so exhibitors know if the event is attracting the visitors they want. Moreover, it enables us to do matching and send jobseekers relevant information pertaining to their interests or profile. The minimum age requirement of 16 years ensures focused interaction time between jobseekers and our exhibitors.

Finally, ample job postings will go "live" after the fair, and registered jobseekers can submit their job applications to exhibiting companies via the Job Search page, from 24 August 2009 to 24 October 2009. Visitors can also search for courses using the Course Search engine, which enables them to send course enquiries to the relevant education institutions.

THE JOBSCENTRAL PORTAL
Another JobsCentral product is the JobsCentral portal, at www.JobsCentral.com.sg. This is Singapore's fastest-growing job portal with more than 460,000 users. The site enjoys page-views of 7 million+, 15,000+ new signups, and >150,000 job applications every month.
