BIMAR Pte. Ltd. is a new start-up company based in Singapore. It is a subsidiary and spin-off of the Swiss company DFRC (Data Fusion Research Centre, www.dfrc.ch). DFRC is a leading center of knowledge, research, and development on geospatial data fusion and analysis. Its core technology focuses on understanding the behavior of real-world objects using only small numbers of observations. DFRC has developed a wide range of solutions covering different domains such as worldwide maritime cargo traffic and visitor / customerbehavior within large premises. DFRC, including its subsidiary BIMAR Pte. Ltd, focuses on research and development and follows a technology incubation business model. It develops its complementary technologies in cooperation with several leadinguniversities and research institutes worldwide.
The core business of DFRC and BIMAR Pte. Ltd. are location based technologies., including the development of sensors, software and cloud services. The two companies develop own sensing devices (e.g., mobile phone detectors using WiFi and GSM), software for routine, link and behavioral analysisof geospatial data, and offer cloud-based reporting and analysis services to generate knowledge out of geospatial data.

Experienced Java and Web Developer |
Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, test and deploy dynamic web-based user interfaces,
- Design outstanding graphical user interfaces matching our customers’ requirements,
- Integration work with business logic team to connect web-sites with server-side logic,
Provide post-deployment maintenance and support of the developed applications;
Requirements:
- Preferably student of Diploma / BA degree in Engineering or Computer Science,
- Experience in software engineering
- Expertise in Java, J2EE, Javascript, HTML5
- Preferably with knowledge in AJAX frameworks
- Good understanding of CSS and site layout
- Knowledge of JSON and RESTful web services
- Creative and graphically skilled mind to offer innovative and appealing web interfaces to our customers
